Based in Asnières-sur-Seine, between Paris and La Défense, Encotext offers multilingual translation services to major companies and multinationals, as well as to start-ups and SMEs. Our young and united team provides support to companies in their development and communication strategies by offering translation services for technical and general documents in 50 languages, as well as interpretation, revision, post-editing and transcription. The agency also offers advice and support in large-scale multilingual projects.

A Strong partnership

Ilaria Marchetti decided to settle in Paris 20 years ago. A European polyglot, she graduated from the Interpreters and Translators Graduate School in Milan. After working as a translator for an accounting firm and for a financial publishing house, she established her own translation agency: Encotext. The agency quickly became known among major companies as a driver for growth and a reliable partner. General Management as well as HR and Marketing managers choose Encotext for its fast response times and its ability to manage complex multilingual projects.

Passionate about languages – she speaks four – and technology, available and responsive, Ilaria is considerate of her clients needs and always prioritises their demands. The project managers, who all have a linguistic and translation background, use all the necessary tools to meet client needs: glossaries, translation memories, style guides and spelling correctors.  Additionally, all our translators sign a quality commitment, which guarantees compliance with confidentiality and quality requirements. 

Technological innovation

The use of new technologies, as well as data security and traceability are vital in the translation business. Hence, Encotext has implemented security measures to ensure safe transactions and is compliant with the European Union’s legislation on data protection (GDPR), especially with its client and supplier portal – ‘My portal’ – that guarantees secure access. Furthermore, the project managers use computer assisted translation software and project management software in order to optimise the coherence, quality and efficiency of every project.
